Baruna’s Dive Sites at Alor

Alor Island is one of the two main islands in Alor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia. On this island is Kalabahi City, the capital of Alor Regency.

This 2,119 square kilometer island located at the eastern tip of the Nusa Tenggara Islands has extraordinary natural beauty. On this island you can witness the natural beauty that can be seen directly both on land and on its beaches. In addition, the underwater beauty on Alor Island in the form of rare and beautiful fish as well as coral reefs and marine plants are so enchanting that there are many on this island.

Alor Island is located south of the Equator. This causes Alor to have a Semiarid (Dry) climate. Temperatures in Alor can reach 22.2 C to 32.2 C. The highest humidity percentage is 92%, the lowest is 80%, the highest sunlight and the lowest is 62%.

Alor Island besides having natural beauty that can be seen directly on land and on the beach, it also has natural beauty under the sea in the form of beautiful and rare fish and coral and marine plants that are so enchanting.

Squeezed between the dense clusters of islands on the eastern tip of Flores, Alor is a dream location for divers and adventurers from around the world. Alor is even hailed in comparison to the beauty of that sea garden in the Caribbean.

Airport
Mali airport has runway length/direction/PCN: 1,600 x 30 m /03-21/ 22 FCZU. Class IV/A with the ability to land C-212, ATR 42, Fokker-50 aircraft and has a domestic terminal of 500 m2 [reference needed], the airline that serves Kupang-Alor-Kupang is TransNusa Aviation Mandiri with this type of aircraft. Port
Baranusa Harbor has a long pier with a length of 64 meters.[20] Besides Baranusa, there are also sea ports in Kalabahi and Maritaing, in TA. In 2011, the Duliono port was also built in the City of Kalabahi. Meanwhile, the ferry port is located in Kalabahi which is managed by the UPT Directorate General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation. And in TA. 2011 also built a ferry port on Pantar Island, namely in Baranusa side by side with the existing sea port.
